Hey guys! Christine here!
Today was kicked off with a visit to the Sarah Senior Activity Centre. We met some really friendly elderly folks ( who thought Pastor Gideon was waaaaay younger than his actual age haha) , played some games with them and also got to know them better. The two people in charge of the centre, Uncle James and Uncle Peter, then gave us a clearer idea of the mission and current progress of the activity centre.

The elderly folk there were so friendly, they even let us go up into their houses! It was an eye-opening experience for us as we got a real look at some of the struggles they are facing everyday. Of course, this led to even more bonding and getting to know the elderly even more!! :DD

Next stop: Presbyterian Community Services HQ! There, we took a break with Milo, coffee, and the toilet ( for the guys especially lol). Rev. David was kind enough to explain to us the whole system of the PCS. Apparently, they cater to the needs of three main groups : children, youth, and elderly. It was so woahhhh to see how many people they reached out to, how many lives they have touched, and how much of a difference they have made to our community as a whole.
